SQL Server DBA
As a SQL Server DBA you will be responsible for supporting the SQL Server databases as well as the MongoDB databases. You will ensure their availability, performance, and security.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve database access and performance issues
- Actively monitor the databases to ensure secure availability and performance within internal and external SLAs
- Monitor and ensure that the various database backup operations are successful
- Maintain, create, and monitor various ETL processes
- Establish and maintain appropriate end-user database control levels
- Work with application development and production support staff to provide guidance and ensure coding standards are adhered to
- Create or support the creation of reports required for internal and external clients
- Deploy database scripts to production in a continuous development environment
- Proactively monitor and request physical data storage for database systems
- Escalate problems to the senior DBAs, and/or development teams as appropriateEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
