This is our direct-client opening for a Sr. JDE E1 Developer located in Emeryville, CA. This is a full-time position and our client will provide relocation assistance for non-local candidates. The salary range depends upon experience and there will be a bonus

The Sr. E1 Developer reports to the ERP Development and Technical Manager and works with the IT team, managers, systems users, and consultants to lead projects from request through development and delivery. The Sr. E1 Developer creates solutions in the JDE Enterprise One (E1) environment and related business systems using E1 and other application development tools. Additional responsibilities include technical and functional project leadership, as well as application functional support.
Responsibilities:
Works collaboratively with IT management, business leaders and analysts to review requests, analyze requirements, establish priorities and set direction, aligning with overall company and department objectives.
Work to support existing applications and develop new applications in JDE Enterprise One system (version 9.x).
Code both new functionality and enhancements within the JDE platform.
Participate in project planning activities, including defining detailed project tasks.
Develops and maintain all necessary documentation including design documents, test documents and training materials.
Assists in the evaluation of third-party tools and applications.
Assists and in some cases works directly with other third party software packages.
Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications:
BA or BS degree preferred.
Proven experience with JDE E1 development tools and configuration. (5-10 Years)
Experience with SDLC and change control processes and documentation.
Clear understanding of E1 best practices and development standards.
Working knowledge of JDE database structure and how it is used in applications.
Ability to work with management, IT, users, and consultants to determine priorities and feasibility for development initiatives.
Solid analytical skills with aptitude to translate business requirements to technical solutions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work both independently and in collaborative teams to meet common business initiatives.
Excellent organizational skills to lead multiple project and support commitments, attention to detail, and pro-active follow-up on outstanding tasks and issues.
Experience leading projects, incorporating implementation methodology and documentation from concept to production solutions.
Own projects and issue resolution utilizing excellent oral and written communication.
E1 Development tools: ERW, Forms design, interactive and batch applications, table design
SQL Server Enterprise platform tools, including: SQL Server DB, CDC, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, PowerPivot, PerformancePoint, PowerView, Excel Services, SharePoint.
Microsoft Visio, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Working knowledge of E1 data structures: GL, AP, AR, Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, MRP.
Certifications in E1 development and functional modules, Microsoft platform a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
