Accounting Manager - GL
Who We AreReporting to the Director of Accounting, the Accounting Manager will lead a team of talented professionals with a broad set of responsibilities across the accounting team and within the Company.
The Accounting Manager will utilize a broad knowledge of accounting principles and procedures to lead and coordinate the timely and accurate recording of accounting records and the continued development of operating processes and efficiency.
The Accounting Manager leads a team of two accountants.
What You Will Do Overall responsibility for ensuring a timely month-end close, including coordination with other Accounting, Finance and business.
Review and/or preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations Oversight and review of direct report staff and senior accountants, providing ongoing training, feedback and timely performance reviews.
With direct report team, manages the General Ledger, Treasury, fixed asset and lease accounting functions.
Ensure an in-depth understanding of all accounting close processes in order to perform a thorough and accurate review of work completed to ensure transactions are recorded accurately in the general ledger.
Partner with Controller, Director of Accounting and business partners to ensure all new business initiatives are recorded correctly in the general ledger Primary liaison with external auditors in managing quarterly reviews and annual audits.
Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements, including footnote disclosures Who You Are Five to ten years' accounting management experience, including primary responsibility over General Ledger and financial close process.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or other quantitative discipline with CPA licensure preferred.
Knowledge of accounting systems.
Experience with system integrations and development of automated processes, a plus.
Extreme attention to detail and ability to simultaneously research discrepancies and solve problems Superior organizational, project management and leadership skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Financial management experience at a public company preferred.

The target annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - 150,000 annually.
The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
