About the Role:
The Finance Operations Coordinator will help manage the financial and contractual relationship between Grocery Outlet, Inc.
and the Independent Operators (IOs) who own and operate our Grocery Outlet retail locations.
In this role, the Coordinator will support the Finance Operations' team in providing oversight to the financial health of Independ Operators for Grocery Outlet locations.
Through this process, the Coordinator will collaborate frequently with IOs and other departments at Grocery Outlet including Accounting, Operations, Legal, and IT.
In addition, the Coordinator will assist in resolving client inconsistencies, collecting overdue payments, and validating the IO submitted financial statements.
This role will report to the Manager of Finance Operations.
Responsibilities Include:
Facilitate the maintenance and changes to Independent Operator (IO or IOs) in relation to:
Prepare and process the appropriate documentation and any other administrative tasks in relation to maintaining and updating IOs financial records and information.
Provide financial IO information to different business partners as requested for the purpose of IO selection or other ad-hoc IO inquiry.
Support and develop process efficiencies as needed.
Assist in resolving IO financial discrepancies, collecting overdue payments, and validating IO submitted financial statements:
Track and audit IO-related financial, including following up with IOs for correction.
Follow up with IOs on overdue accounts as well as loan payment increases Research on IO financial disputes and billing discrepancies, and process reimbursements and loan advances.

Communicate with Independent Operators to mitigate failure risk, coach the Operators to develop achievable actions as appropriate, and provide support to proactively assess financial problems before they become emergencies Draft and send internal communication to IOs as needed Provide back up support as needed in the absence of other team members About the Pay:
Base Salary:
$26.
50-$31.

About You:
Educational requirements, years of work experience, technical skills, competencies required A.

Degree.
0-3 years of accounting or finance experience and/or relevant experience in the grocery or retail field Strong written & verbal communication skills Experience in time management, attention to detail, problem solving, and organization Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and other computer software Excellent interpersonal skills and willing to help a variety of backgrounds A highly curious nature that wants to find solutions to problems Basic knowledge of financial statements and accounting concepts Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Auditing Billing Coaching And Mentoring Curiosity Data Analysis Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
