About the Role:
The Program Management Director within the Product Development organization at Grocery Outlet is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of product development initiatives, driving cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring successful program delivery.
The Program Management Director reports to the VP Program Management.
Responsibilities Include:
Providing strategic direction and leadership for the product development program management function.
Leading and mentoring a team of program managers to ensure alignment with business objectives and market trends.
Overseeing the lifecycle of product development programs, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive alignment, resolve issues, and mitigate risks throughout the product development process.
Serving as a primary point of contact for senior leadership, providing regular updates on program status and key milestones.
Continuously evaluate and enhance program management processes, tools, and methodologies for efficiency and effectiveness.
Identifying and managing potential risks and issues impacting program delivery and developing mitigation strategies as necessary.
Managing relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure alignment with program objectives and performance expectations.
Partnering with finance and project teams to develop and manage program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal quality assurance protocols.
About The Pay:
Base Salary Range:
$140,000 - $160,000 AnnuallyAnnual Bonus ProgramEquity401(k) Profit SharingMedical, Dental, Vision & More!Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.
About You:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

years of experience in program management, product development, or related roles within the consumer goods or retail industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinker with a data-driven and results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies (e.
g.
, Agile, Scrum, PMP) and project management software.
Experience in the grocery retail or food industry is a plus.
